Ageing or growing old is a normal part of life of any individual. The body ages as it becomes less efficient. Eventually, one opr more of the body's systems stop working, and a person dies. Humans' age because the body cells gradually becomes less active. A sign of ageing often appears after 40 years of age. The human body becomes less mobile, the hair becomes thin and turns grey, the skin wrinkles and bones becomes more brittle and can suffer fractures easily. The immune systems in this age become weak and are easily prone to infectious diseases. Regular exercise, weight control, anti-smoking habits, and eating breakfast regularly, limited alcohol consumption and seven to eight hours of sound sleep in the night contributes to longetivity. Henceforth ageing is a constant process that any individual cannot avoid.
