The name Serbia originated from the Greek meaning "land of the Serbs". In 1992, Serbia formed Union with Montenegro and spilt up again to become independent. It has 122 municipalities. Belgrade is the capital city and the largest city in Serbia. It is the oldest city in Europe and has a population around 1.7 million people. The Saint Sava in Belgrade is one of the largest Orthodox Church in the world. The national currency of Serbia is Serbian dinar. The agricultural land area is approximately fifty-eight per cent, while the forests cover about thirty-one per cent of its total land area. Serbia is a largest exporter of raspberry. Almost ninety-five per cent of raspberries sold, originate from this country. Vampire is the Serbian word that is accepted and used worldwide. Serbians are known to be the most hospitable people in the world.
