Malawi is a country in the southern Central Africa and their capital being Lilongwe. Malawi accommodates a population of 11,600,000 and has spread over an area of 118,480 sq. Km. This country is self sufficient in terms of their basic amenities that include food and shelter. The monetary unit is called Malawian Kwacha. Industries like food processing manufacturing farm oriented tools are still in the process of development. The fishes from Lake Malawi are the source of food. Almost 85 per cent of the Malawians work in agricultural lands growing cash crops such as sugar, coffee, tea, tobacco and the subsistence crops include maize, plantains, rice and cassava.
