The main exports include cane sugar, coffee, and cotton. The country of Uganda is rich mineral deposits like cobalt, copper and gold. The capital city of the country Kampala stands on hills overlooking the Victoria Lake. Kiswahili and English are the main languages spoken here. New Uganda Shilling is the currency of this country. Lake Victoria is the world's largest fresh water lake. The people of Kampala experience violent thunderstorms on an average of 242 days a year.
